Who We’re Looking For:
Collections Specialists utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve delinquent customer balances. They represent the company with a high standard of professionalism to positively impact the Customer Experience. We are looking for individuals that are able to use conflict management and problem-solving skills to find a solution that benefits our customers and our company.
Position Details:
- Training: Paid, Mandatory, Full-Time (4 weeks, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM MT)
- Available Shift: (Full-Time) Mon – Fri 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM MT
- Starting Pay: Base pay = $15.75/hr + uncapped commission. (The average hourly rate of base + commission = $19.50)

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Process and update customer payment methods.
- Reinstate customer accounts that have been disconnected due to non-payment.
- Assist customers in finding unique solutions, bringing the customer to 100% satisfaction with the company, and resolving any outstanding balance.
- Build and maintain a positive customer relationship in every interaction – manage all customer issues and escalations within the outlined scope.
- Engage with fellow employees to successfully identify problem areas and resolve urgent needs.

Minimum Requirements:
- Basic understanding and ability to process simple math daily
- Computer Savvy (Ex. 40+ WPM, ability to navigate different/new software).
- Must pass a company background check (paid for by Vivint)
- Must also be 18 years or older
- Cannot be located in CA, CO, CT, DC, KY, ME, NJ, NY, or WA.
Working Conditions:
- Work-from-home employees cannot be the primary caregivers for children, other people, or pets while on shift.
- Have a quiet and private location from which to work
- Must be able to provide your own equipment. This entails:
- A computer (laptop or desktop) that runs Windows 10 (Please note our remote-based software does NOT work with Apple/Mac products, tablets, or Chromebooks.)
- Computer must have at least 8 GB RAM.
- Computer must have a webcam.
- A USB wired headset equipped with a microphone.
- Must have reliable internet: 10 MBPS download and 10 MBPS upload speeds
- Must have a wired internet connection

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $15.75/hr. In addition to base pay, this position has commission opportunities which typically range from $50,000 to $70,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
