Our Claims Recovery team is looking to fill a remote entry level collections position based in our Bloomington, IL office. This is a fully trainable position!
At Wilber, our collectors are part of a team that takes/places calls to reconcile insurance claims. Collectors here at Wilber are able to earn uncapped commissions and specialty benefit packages. This position requires a person with a GED or high school diploma as well as having a professional, friendly behavior. Subrogation recovery or insurance industry experience highly desirable.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Make outbound calls to customers/debtors informing of claim filed against them
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Negotiate repayment and financial plans to recover assets for clients
- Update/validate contact information
- Successfully notate files of conversations had and payments received
- Provide clarity on filed claims and answer any inquiries from customers
- Adaptable to change
- Being a team player with a positive attitude
Working From Home Capabilities:
- Adequate and reliable internet connection that allows work at full production speed (not WiFi compatible)
- Wilber issued equipment must be utilized within a room that has a door and lock.
- Hardware and/or software will be provided by The Wilber Group for sole purpose of performing the Remote Worker’s assigned duties. Equipment may not be used for personal use.
