Schedule
- 1099 contractor role
- 100% remote within the U.S.
- Sunday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM ET
- 32–40 hours per week
- Must be able to consistently work a 5–6 hour shift on Saturday or Sunday each week (per application question)
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate lab orders, prescription refills, and prior authorizations accurately and quickly
- Manage faxed requests, medical documentation, and patient forms while staying compliant with healthcare regulations
- Relay provider updates and care recommendations to patients professionally and compassionately
- Provide patient support via phone, email, and in-app messaging with timely, accurate responses
- Help patients with scheduling, telehealth services, and questions about care plans and Allara’s services
- Ensure accurate information handoffs between patients, providers, and internal teams
- Learn and follow Allara’s clinical workflows to support providers seamlessly
- Offer personalized concierge-style help so patients feel guided, not lost
What You Need
- 1.5+ years in a support role (medical reception, patient coordination, telehealth support, or similar)
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to handle sensitive conversations
- High attention to detail and accuracy with clinical requests and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Tech confidence: able to navigate multiple systems and handle sensitive data appropriately
- Medical reception experience and EHR familiarity preferred
- Quiet, private workspace with reliable internet for confidential patient communications
