This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours (expected schedule 9:30am – 6:00pm EST).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Take inbound calls through the phone queue to assist families access Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
- Educate callers on the ABA benefit and Autism in the State of Maryland.
- Deliver quality customer service, assisting with the referral process
- Make outbound calls to families to assist with acquiring diagnostic documentation
- Assist with organizing group email inbox
- Maintain professionalism and positive service attitude with all internal and external customers/peers
- Manage and prioritize tasks that may include compiling reports, documenting on Excel spreadsheets
- Maintains knowledge and ensures procedures are followed including referral guidelines and policies, privacy, and confidentiality
- Follow departmental workflows and procedures
- Facilitate teleconferences as needed between external parties and families
- Document clearly and accurately, with strong attention to detail
- Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, and attendance
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience using phone and/or email as mode of communication
- 1+ years of Health Care related experience
- Experience working with Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating, editing, saving spreadsheets)
- Experience working with a PC and windows applications, with the ability to learn other sometimes complex systems
- Ability to work full-time, Monday – Friday between 9:30am – 6:00pm EST including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish fluency, able to translate behavioral health terminology)
- Experience with and/or understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience in the State of Maryland Behavioral Health delivery system
- Knowledge of basic behavioral health terminology
- Call center experience
