Role Overview
As a Client Services Benefit Specialist “Champion,” you’ll be the front-line expert ensuring every client interaction is professional, warm, and efficient. You’ll manage client benefit data, partner with carriers, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate deliverables—keeping client satisfaction at the center of everything you do.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality service and proactive communication to clients and internal teams
  • Respond to inquiries within expected timeframes, providing updates through resolution
  • Conduct audits, risk mitigation reporting, and case management tracking
  • Manage inbound/outbound data files, SFTP setups, and carrier discrepancy reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for carrier partners, coordinating ongoing updates
  • Execute client-specific processes and procedures accurately
  • Identify root causes of systemic issues and collaborate on solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in employee benefits and/or benefits administration
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, CSV conversion, concatenation, pivot tables)
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in benefits admin or HCM platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with carrier files or EDI processes a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Skilled in client relationship management and conflict resolution
  • Calm under pressure—especially during peak seasons

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $16.50 – $25.85 (approx. up to $53,000/year based on 2,080 hrs)
  • Annual bonus eligibility
