Position Overview
The Clearinghouse Enrollment Coordinator supports the mission of OCHIN by working with our members, claim clearinghouse partners, third parties, and the Epic Revenue Cycle Team to facilitate EDI enrollment activities. They will lead member-facing troubleshooting and training sessions covering the use of third-party enrollment management tools and may initiate, track and report on enrollment activities in progress for our members.
This role consults with OCHIN members, internal staff, and external partners to provide solutions that offer accurate, secure, and efficient workflows, with a focus on quality outcomes for our member organizations. In addition, this role supports the Revenue Cycle Team by providing coordination, meeting facilitation, weekly enrollment reporting, and other duties as required.
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
To keep our colleagues, members, and communities safe, OCHIN requires all employees—including remote employees, contractors, interns, and new hires—to be vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, as supported by state and federal public health officials, as a condition of employment. All new hires are required to provide proof of full vaccination or receive approval for a medical or religious exemption before their hire date.
Essential Duties
- Discuss and provide workflow solutions and ensure member understanding of the enrollment system through hands-on training.
- Research claim rejections within Epic to determine enrollment needs.
- Update Epic Payor Master files for electronic connections.
- Track and report on enrollment outcomes using tools from TriZetto, Madaket, and other related products.
- Lead working sessions with OCHIN members to resolve enrollment issues.
- Complete enrollment activities using third-party software (STEM/Madaket or similar)
- Operate within the Member Care Team framework, contributing to the overall goals of the team support model.
- Document build specifications, team processes, and member workflows, and share best practices.
- Collaborate with members from other OCHIN teams to address integration issues when needed.
- Provide elbow support to clinic staff during Go-Lives and Dress Rehearsals.
- Build, design, test, and document functionality of new system features.
- Provide process improvements within your application or team.
- Support team installation and maintenance processes and reporting.
- Manage clearinghouse-related System Notifications and subsequent follow-up
- Meet with TriZetto Senior Account Executive(s) on weekly basis and communicate updates and changes between TriZetto and OCHIN Revenue Cycle Team
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare IT settings.
- Ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot using rapidly changing tools
- Experience working in Epic Billing Modules is highly desired
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Access), SmartSheet & Sharepoint
- Exemplary communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills
- The high skill level at managing tasks and details
- Ability to work on multiple complex programs and projects at one time
- Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with TriZetto Provider Solutions and STEM/Madaket enrollment tools.
Work Location and Travel Requirements
This position is 100% remote. Work from home requirements are:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment

- It is a requirement that employees work in a distraction-free workplace
- Travel may be required based on business requirements for OCHIN
