Schedule
- Full-time, remote role based in Texas
- Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM CT
- No weekends or holidays
What You’ll Do
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and document coverage details for medications, supplies, and infusion services
- Calculate patient financial responsibility based on payer contracts or self-pay pricing
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on payer authorization requests
- Review and obtain clinical documentation for prior authorizations
- Communicate with patients, referral sources, and internal teams on coverage and referral status
- Assist patients with enrollment in manufacturer copay or foundation support programs when needed
- Generate and maintain patient start-of-care paperwork
- Perform account reconciliations, document all activity, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of home infusion specialty pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- Experience interpreting payer contracts using NDC and HCPCS units
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
- Knowledge of CPR+ preferred
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
