Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position (U.S.-based) with hybrid option in Downers Grove, IL
  • Some travel required for meetings and presentations

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of claims staff
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of claims team members
  • Ensure compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and reporting requirements
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and staff development for peak performance
  • Provide technical and jurisdictional guidance on complex claims and investigations
  • Serve as liaison for clients and staff on procedural or claims-specific issues
  • Participate in customer claim reviews and presentations
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company best practices

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience handling claims with Workers’ Compensation knowledge
  • Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation required
  • State Certification as an experienced Examiner; Self-Insured Certificate preferred
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and coaching skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking abilities
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints and maintain professionalism
