- Full-time, remote position (U.S.-based) with hybrid option in Downers Grove, IL
- Some travel required for meetings and presentations
What You’ll Do
- Supervise day-to-day operations of claims staff
- Support recruitment, training, and development of claims team members
- Ensure compliance with Workers’ Compensation laws and reporting requirements
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and staff development for peak performance
- Provide technical and jurisdictional guidance on complex claims and investigations
- Serve as liaison for clients and staff on procedural or claims-specific issues
- Participate in customer claim reviews and presentations
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow company best practices
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience handling claims with Workers’ Compensation knowledge
- Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation required
- State Certification as an experienced Examiner; Self-Insured Certificate preferred
- Strong leadership, motivational, and coaching skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking abilities
- Technical proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints and maintain professionalism
