What You’ll Do
- Manage and resolve rejected pharmacy claims to maximize payer reimbursement
- Work with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers
- Perform edits/reversals on claims for approval and timely payment
- Research, analyze, and resolve billing exceptions and payer issues
- Identify trends and collaborate with the team to resolve systemic challenges
- Prepare and maintain records, reports, and billing documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage details
- Basic math skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred:
- Pharmacy Technician experience (retail or non-retail)
- Knowledge of pharmacy billing, claims processing, or insurance reimbursement
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
