Digitech is seeking a Claims Specialist (Insurance Biller) to review and resolve EMS insurance claims that are pending, denied, or incorrectly paid. This fully remote role is best suited for detail-oriented professionals with strong follow-through and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
- Full-time, 100% remote role
- Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- Team follows an Eastern Time schedule
- Equipment provided (personal phone required for outbound carrier calls)
What You’ll Do
- Work claims rejected by the clearinghouse to ensure resubmission and resolution
- Review and address claims placed on hold, identifying and resolving root causes
- Process and review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for claims that have been paid
- Complete insurance credentialing to ensure payments are properly received
- Review accounts with multiple transports to ensure coordination of benefits is correct
- Communicate with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of claims
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
What You Need
- Strong computer skills; proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum typing speed: 40 WPM
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with excellent follow-through
- Ability to manage high volumes of claims under strict deadlines
- Professional, courteous communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to stay calm and effective in challenging phone interactions
- Organizational skills to prioritize and complete assigned work efficiently
- Experience in a performance-monitored environment preferred
