- Full-time, remote role
- Must reside in one of the payroll-eligible states: CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NJ, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV, WI
What You’ll Do
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto casualty claims, including injury and third-party property damage
- Handle claims under personal, uninsured, and underinsured motorists, plus homeowner’s liability
- Review and negotiate auto damage repair estimates and total loss evaluations
- Follow established best practices, jurisdictional guidelines, and Fair Claims Practices laws
- Maintain detailed documentation in claims systems and ensure timely follow-up
- Manage an average of 55 losses per month
- Collaborate with appraisers, insurance representatives, and internal teams
What You Need
- Previous insurance or claims experience preferred
- College degree strongly desired
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze medical terms, tort law, and settlement negotiations
- Experience in sales, public service, or business roles a plus
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10 coding, and auto claims evaluation preferred
- State insurance licensing (must obtain as required)
