Schedule
- Full-time, temporary position
- Remote (must work 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST)
- Training is required on-camera; no time off permitted during training and ramp-up period
What You’ll Do
- Process professional healthcare claim forms submitted by providers
- Review policies and benefits for accuracy
- Adjudicate claims in line with client workflows, guidelines, and SLAs
- Research, review, and resolve claims independently
- Calculate claim payment amounts accurately using fee schedules
- Respond to priority claim inquiries received via email
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and company standards
- Meet or exceed client productivity and quality targets (98.5% PA / 99.75% FA)
What You Need
- 1+ years of hands-on healthcare claims processing experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous remote work experience required
- Comfortable working in queue-based environments
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to toggle between multiple systems/screens efficiently
- At least 2 years of experience navigating Windows applications
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Preferred
- Experience with Amisys
- Familiarity with P&Q work environments
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
