JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:
The Waystar Support Representative maintains the Waystar software and provides support to the Billing Centers as the Liaison between the Billing Center and the Clearinghouse. The Waystar software is used to receive electronic claims from IDX and send directly to the payers either electronically or via paper. This position provides both Billing Center support and maintenance for all areas in the Clearignhouse including database management and enrollment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confirms daily Claims transmission from TeamHealth to Waystar.
- Performs daily review of all WayStar Workgroup of front-end Claim rejections and triages to applicable party for resolution and/or Enrollment if needed.
- Ensures proper movement of claims within each workgroup
- Facilitates WayStar Issues as reported by the Billing Centers
- Works with Billing Center on Claims and Remittance Enrollments to decrease claims rejections and increase electronic remittance percentage
- Maintains and produces weekly Waystar Reports
- ZirMed Enrollment 205 Edit report
- ERA Opportunities / New Business
- Frequently works in Excel creating files for data reporting/Projects
- Receives and reconciles monthly Waystar Invoice
- Attends weekly meetings as needed
- Works with the Supervisor and Director of HCFS Applications to assist with departmental projects, often software related or assists the Vice President with tasks related to the job description.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of Microsoft office & Excel software.
- Great Team player
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain database with accuracy.
- Ability to follow through on issues to resolution.
Education
High school or equivalent
Working Conditions.
Monday thru Friday. 40 hour work week
