We support over 250 client locations nationwide with precision billing services, and we’re growing our remote coding team with experienced professionals who understand both the science and the structure behind accurate documentation.
👩🏽💻 The Role
We’re looking for Certified Professional Coders with a background in surgical pathology. You’ll work directly with clients to ensure accurate, compliant coding practices that optimize revenue and support patient care.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Abstract medical records and assign accurate CPT and ICD-10-CM codes
- Ensure proper charge capture and documentation compliance
- Apply up-to-date knowledge of NCCI edits, MIPS, and NCD/LCD policies
- Stay aligned with CMS coding initiatives and industry guidelines
✅ Qualifications
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines
- Experience with surgical pathology coding (preferred)
- Proven understanding of bundling rules, add-on codes, and CMS policy
- Ability to review and abstract medical documentation accurately
