About the Role
As a Care Center Representative with VRI, you’ll respond to emergency and non-emergency alerts, providing comfort, support, and peace of mind to individuals and families during their most vulnerable times. Your work directly impacts lives—whether you’re guiding someone through a medical alarm situation or offering preventative care recommendations.
Start Date & Schedule
- Start Date: September 8, 2025
- 1st and 2nd shifts available (includes one required weekend day)
- Full-time, remote role — must reside in MT, ID, WY, NV, UT, NM, ND, or SD
- Overtime and flexible hours as needed

Key Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with compassion and professionalism
- Monitor high-volume medical alerts and alarms
- Follow protocols to assess priorities and dispatch responses
- Record call details and customer updates in real time
- Troubleshoot alarm systems and coordinate maintenance
- Offer preventative healthcare recommendations to members
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security
- Navigate multiple systems while talking and typing simultaneously
What You Bring
- High School diploma or GED required
- 0–1 year of customer service experience (contact center or healthcare preferred)
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Calm under pressure, empathetic communicator
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Able to toggle between multiple screens quickly
- High-speed internet (25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
