Schedule
- Independent contractor role (1099)
- 100% remote from your home office
- Flexible hours, with availability needed during normal business hours
- Choose the number of clients and hours you want
What You’ll Do
- Pay client bills weekly
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Manage budgets and cash flow
- Perform journal and data entry (coding)
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports (balance sheet, P&L, budget vs. actual)
- Maintain and manage chart of accounts
- Handle 1099 preparation and payroll processing
- File sales tax and provide e-commerce support
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting
- Payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (preferred) or similar accounting software
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working via phone, Zoom, email, and text
Tools Required
- Home office setup with computer and webcam
- Smartphone with email and push notifications
- High-speed internet
Compensation
- $20.00 – $25.00/hour
