The Harlem Globetrotters are looking to add a Booking Coordinator to the team. This full-time position within the Harlem Globetrotters International (HGI) Booking Division is a remote/hybrid role that reports to the Sr. Director of Booking.

Position Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Booking, this position will serve as an integral member of the Harlem Globetrotters Booking Department. This Coordinator’s responsibilities will be to, in collaboration with the Booking Team to prepare, draft, route and traffic all Contracts and internal paperwork for signature and approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and review all agreements to ensure agreements align with negotiated deal terms, legal and insurance requirements.
  • Work with the Booking Manager and the venue’s appointed representative execute agreements while maintaining positive working relationships with venue partners.
  • Collaborate with the Booking Manager and Director of Booking to further develop and maintain booking databases and contacts information.
  • Work with the tour managers to ensure that the latest version of all paperwork is available to them for settlement purposes.
  • Duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Core competencies: Organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects in a given time, adaptability, initiative, Innovation/Creative Thinking, Problem Solving/Judgement, Achievement Orientation, Listening and integrity.
  • Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented.
  • Ability to learn from your mistakes and not repeat them.
  • Experience in Live events management, contracting or paralegal work is a plus.
  • Ability to grasp a basic understanding of insurance and legal concepts.
  • Potential for travel 1-5 times a year.
