The Bond Sales Service Specialist supports the Bond Sales Team by handling the daily workflow of business and service requests from customers and the Small Business Inside Sales Team. The position manages the email box, Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests, and PolicyCenter Shell creation. They process business, both new and renewal as well as cancellations/non-renewals, and service requests.
Responsibilities:
- Manages all email of Bond Sales.
- E-Files appropriate documents and creates tasks/accounts for Sales Underwriters.
- Issues/Executes policies/bonds (Commercial Surety and Fidelity).
- Processes cancellations/non-renewals and service requests
- Supports needs of Small Business Internal Sales Team/CARE Underwriters/Service Staff Customer Request/File Setup
- Creates and manages COI requests from customers
- Creates/Updates PolicyCenter Bond Shells
- Monitors work inventories/queues
- Handles/Redirects overflow inbound calls and makes appropriate outbound calls
- Assists with Accounting issues
- Manages ERISA, Notary, and Business Service Bond (underwriting, issuance, servicing)
- Supports Bond Sales Underwriters as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience working independently as well as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Consistently demonstrates a high level of flexibility and resilience while multi-tasking and priority setting
This role will have a Remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise, the candidate must reside in the Lake Mary, FL area.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:$42,560 – $63,840
