A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILLING SPECIALIST
As a member of our finance team, you play a key role in ensuring all of our customers are billed accurately and correct payments are received. To help our clients with their billing questions and provide quality customer service, you chat with them on the phone or communicate through emails. You build relationships with our clients by solving any past due issues and ensuring that they are receiving their invoices. While maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor, you form a connection with each client you speak with. You are always willing to learn and can easily adapt to any changes that come with the job. Although most tasks are performed independently, you also work well in a team environment and are a great contributor to our office culture. You feel good about performing excellent customer service, which is what makes you perfect for this finance position!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BILLING SPECIALIST
- Experience in billing or accounting is preferred
- Ability to work with a team to meet department and company goals
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- An understanding of Excel – including Vlookup and pivot tables
- Flexibility to deal with change as we forge our path in being awesome
- Remarkable organizational skills
