The growing finance and accounting team at Secureframe is playing a critical role in defining and driving strategic and financial processes across the company and is looking for a self-starter, who can meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As the team’s Billing Specialist, you will report directly to the financial controller and be responsible for all billing-related matters, including customer-facing communications, as well as the maintenance and optimization of our existing billing software and associated processes. This position will be pivotal in day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the scalability of a rapidly growing customer base.
What you’ll do
- Be responsible for the timely and accurate billing of all direct and indirect customers
- Act as the administrator and in-house expert of our billing system, Zuora. In this role you will also be responsible for developing and optimizing our existing Zuora setup/configuration to ensure scalability for our continued growth and expansion
- Work closely with the Partnerships team to facilitate and streamline their billing needs as they pertain to existing and future channel partnership arrangements
- Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure billing systems are developed and maintained to support ASC 606
- Manage accounts receivable and collections
- Perform periodic order to cash reconciliations
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in accounting/billing/accounts receivable
- Experience working with Zuora
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Intellectual curiosity and an aptitude to assist in process and system improvements
- Experience working in a start-up environment preferred
