As a Medical Billing Specialist with ALN, you will get to dive into complex billing issues and resolve insurance claims that others could not.
You will be dedicated to managing the healthcare claims processing for physician practices across the US.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Researching and processing complex and denied claims
- Writing appeals
- Communicating with clients
- Identifying trends to help increase revenue
- Running various reports
You will be assigned to a team and several accounts. Your manager will oversee the team operations and provide training, support, and guidance as needed; however, you will enjoy a tremendous amount of autonomy. ALN believes in hiring great people and trusting our people to do great work.
We have an experienced training program, so you will feel prepared to hit the ground running when you begin taking on projects.
**You won’t do charge entry, payment posting or answer patients calls in this position.
Requirements
- Tremendous problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Care Administration or another related field strongly preferred
- Strong aptitude for numbers and attention to detail
- Comfort with learning and utilizing new computer software
- Demonstrated ability to embrace change and growth
- NextGen experience is preferred
- Located in CO, GA, IA, IN, KS, MO, MN, NE, OK, or TX
