Schedule

  • Contract role (1099)
  • Remote, U.S. only
  • Minimum 20 hours per week
  • Availability between 8 AM–5 PM (M–F) in your time zone
  • Occasional evening/weekend flexibility preferred

Responsibilities

  • Track billable and payable hours on a regular basis
  • Collect, organize, and process expenses and expense reports
  • Review financial statements to identify inconsistencies or errors
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to resolve billing issues
  • Create invoices and billing materials for clients or customers
  • Input payment history, upcoming payments, and financial data into accounts
  • Provide solutions for clients who require payment assistance
  • Notify clients/customers of missed or upcoming payment deadlines
  • Calculate and track company financial statements
  • Handle other billing-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work
  • 2+ years of billing, bookkeeping, or related administrative experience
  • 2+ years working in a full-time virtual role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, Calendly, and project management tools
  • Comfortable handling sensitive financial data with confidentiality

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with accounting software, expense tracking tools, and CRMs
  • Familiarity with payroll and financial management tools
  • Background in an agency or multi-client support environment
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute changes and resolve issues quickly
