Schedule

  • Contract position, fully remote within the U.S.
  • Requires availability of at least 20 hours per week
  • Must be available between 8 AM – 5 PM in your time zone; occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on client needs

Responsibilities

  • Track billable and payable hours on a regular basis
  • Create invoices and billing materials, sending them directly to clients or customers
  • Collect, organize, and reconcile expenses and expense reports
  • Identify and resolve billing inconsistencies and errors by collaborating with vendors, clients, or internal team members
  • Enter financial data such as payment history and upcoming due dates into client accounts
  • Communicate with clients regarding missed or upcoming payment deadlines
  • Assist clients with financial solutions when payment assistance is needed
  • Analyze company financial statements for discrepancies
  • Provide high-quality administrative support and maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information

Requirements

  • Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 2 years of billing, bookkeeping, or related administrative experience
  • At least 2 years of full-time remote work experience
  • Strong knowledge of billing and expense tracking software (QuickBooks, payroll systems, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Calendly, Slack, and project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and support high-touch clients
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial data securely
