We have a current opening for an AR support team member. The Billing Analyst will work with the Staff Accountant and Controller to ensure that the AR processes are completed on time and accurately. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, focus on detail and deadlines, desire to improve and streamline processes, and strong work ethic.
What you do
- Review customer orders in SalesForce for accuracy and completeness, and to ensure that revenue is recognized correctly
- Enter AR transactions into NetSuite and invoice customers accurately and timely
- Interact with customers on account inquiries and to provide statements
- Work with sales on customer account and invoicing inquiries and issues
- Ensure that AR processes are completed on time to meet the monthly close deadlines
- Contact slow-paying customers to collect payments and manage the AR aging
- Record and apply customer payments daily
Who you are
- 1 – 3 years of experience in accounting or AR
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce or other accounting systems
- Experience with collecting on government agencies invoices
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance helpful
