They provide counseling in personal finance, consumer credit, housing, foreclosure prevention, disaster recovery, student loans, and bankruptcy education. Their mission is to strengthen the well-being of individuals and families through education, advocacy, and support.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Flexible 40-hour schedule within business operating hours
- All training and equipment provided remotely
What You’ll Do
- Provide financial counseling by phone in both English and Spanish
- Guide clients through options tailored to their financial situations
- Document all counseling sessions using proprietary CMS software
- Manage high call volume while maintaining performance standards
- Handle referrals from clients, partners, and industry representatives
- Obtain NFCC and HUD Housing Counselor Certification within 6 months
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required)
- 2+ years in customer service, call center, finance, case management, or social services
- Computer literacy and ability to type at least 25 WPM
- Professional phone presence with effective communication skills
- Willingness to be coachable and receptive to feedback
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Compassionate approach balanced with clear direction
- Familiarity with call center productivity standards
