Schedule
- Full time, Remote
- Dedicated, quiet home workspace required
- Pay range: $17.00–$19.00/hr
- Office-style remote work with prolonged time seated at a computer and on the phone
What You’ll Do
- Respond to phone and email inquiries from members and providers within service standards
- Assist members with benefits and healthcare questions in Spanish and English
- Document all calls and outcomes in a system-based call log
- Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out-of-network providers
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and accuracy
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree or higher preferred)
- Customer service and/or call center experience
- Fluent Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing in both)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, professional phone presence
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and proactive problem solving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong computer navigation skills
- Knowledge of provider organizations and networks
- Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates and ability to negotiate rate structures
- Experience with self-funded health benefits, payor background, claims processing, insurance verification/pre-certification, provider billing, or TPA experience (plus)
