What You’ll Do
- Increase collections on outstanding payments within the personal finance department as an individual contributor
- Identify accounts with overdue payments and work with customers on solutions to bring loans current
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to resolve debts owed
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly collection and metric goals
- Follow GoodLeap’s collections policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Track overdue accounts and maintain accurate records of balances and delinquency timelines
What You Need
- Bilingual English and Spanish (required)
- 1 to 2 years of direct experience in credit and collections
- Knowledge of sales, negotiation, and persuasion techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented work style
- Professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills
- Telemarketing experience with financial products (preferred)
