Schedule

  • Position type: Full-time, direct hire
  • Location: 100% remote (work from home in the United States)
  • Hours: Must be able to work Saturdays; weekday schedule set by business needs
  • Environment: High-volume remote call center

Responsibilities

  • Answer a high volume of inbound patient calls in a remote call center environment.
  • Provide friendly, empathetic customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Follow HIPAA rules and client-specific guidelines while assisting patients.
  • Forward calls to appropriate billing departments when needed.
  • Research issues, identify next steps, and determine resolutions in line with client expectations.
  • Make follow-up contacts as needed (phone, email, fax) to complete requests.
  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation for each interaction.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and timeliness expectations in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong computer skills; basic proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Some insurance billing knowledge preferred (full training provided).
  • Ability to handle heavy call volume and remain calm, professional, and composed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: able to identify issues, ask the right questions, and determine solutions.
  • Excellent verbal communication and phone presence; able to present information clearly and courteously.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage tight deadlines.
  • Punctual, dependable, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment.
