The Role:
Join our innovative team at Revecore! Revecore is first and foremost a patient advocacy service. As an Auto Claims billing specialist, you will work to investigate and bill medical claims for patients, on behalf of the medical providers, for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident (MVA). As an Auto Claims Specialist, you will:
Review and research accident claims to investigate possible leads.
Contact patients, insurance representatives, and attorneys to verify relevant details and obtain maximum payments. Submit bills to all applicable payers when appropriate.
Request documentation from insurance representatives when no benefits are available.
Close and return claims to client upon resolution using correct text and procedures in regard to denial process.
Responds to email and phone correspondence per department guidelines.
Resolve any issues noted in the QA work reviews.
Continue in your education and professional development as you grow with Revecore.
Complete special reports as required, such as aged reports, checklist audits, denial reports, etc.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Maintain confidential information, whether verbal, written or electronic, which I will learn in the course of my work at Revecore.
Will not access or attempt to access confidential data that is unrelated to my job duties in the course of my work at Revecore.
Will not disclose Protected Health Information (PHI) in violation of law.

You will be successful if you have:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle large call volumes. Perhaps in a call center, customer service, and working under metrics.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Proven ability to speak on a one-to-one basis with patients, attorneys and adjusters using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to explain what is required and obtain information.
An excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, often under minimal supervision.
A problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex billing scenarios while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Demonstrated ability to organize and set priorities according to situational demands.
Working knowledge of computer functions including the internet, and computer software such as Microsoft Office suite and develop a working knowledge of AcciClaim and SharePoint.

Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least one year of experience in a professional office environment preferred.
Experience with Coordination of Benefits and Subrogation requirements is a plus.
