Position Summary:
Bentley Systems’ Finance Department is expanding and looking to hire an Associate Tax Specialist in our Exton, PA global headquarters. We are seeking an energetic, go-getter for this newly created entry level position. The Associate Tax Specialist position will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of various aspects of U.S. tax compliance, including:
- The preparation of US International Forms 5471 [average 100+ Controlled Foreign Corporations (“CFCs”)] and Forms 8858.
- Assisting with state and local tax compliance projects and the preparation of tax returns.
- Assisting with the preparation of the ASC 740/FIN 48 tax provisions for controlled foreign corporations.
- Research and documentation of technical conclusions related to day-to-day state tax matters that arise
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.

- Possess strong orientation to detail, assuming ownership of projects and organizing to deliver on deadline.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and to function independently, demonstrating a high level of motivation for taking initiative.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Word.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related course of study. Additional courses to pursue an MS degree or CPA, a plus.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Strong desire to continually improve skillset and grow a career in Tax.
- Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer. The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
- This role does not require travel.
