Job Description:
Sutherland is seeking an Online Community Representative to join the Social Media Communities and Content team for one of clients, a leading brick & mortar and online retail pet store.
In this work at home role, you will help manage and moderate our on-domain and off-domain communities. You will work closely with the Community Manager to provide superior social support with a focus on community management, engagement and moderation and be the first line of defense for most issues that arise. You will also occasionally create content, assist in drafting corporate communication responses, and implement community- related content to the organization
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- A background moderating and engaging with social media content, preferably including experience working with a CRM tool
- A comprehensive understanding of internet trends as well as social media platform function and tone.
- Strong creative writing skills with the ability to quickly learn and maintain knowledge of our client’s services, policies, and procedures
- A love of pets and a basic understanding of animal care.
- Flexibility to jump online for off hour assistance when required
- A thick skin and the ability to remain professional – and neutral – when actively engaged.
This is a fully remote position that will require you to have a quiet, distraction-free secure place to work, your own computer and a hard-wired internet connection. Your computer must run on Windows 10 with at least 4GB of RAM, a Dual Core or better processor, and have at least 10GB available hard drive space. The computer must be sound-card enabled, and have an internet speed of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download, Dual ear (designed to minimize audio interference from outside sources).
