SCA Health is seeking an Associate Accounts Receivable Representative to join our regional business office. This role is vital to the revenue cycle process, focusing on timely account follow-up and ensuring accurate payments from insurance companies and third-party payers.

- Pay: $21–$26 per hour

What You’ll Do
- Ensure timely and accurate payments by primary/secondary payers and self-pay patients
- Follow up on patient accounts to maintain accurate A/R reporting
- Handle denials, corrected claims, and reimbursement issues (contracted and non-contracted)
- Manage credit balances, patient balances, and insurance resolutions
- Contact insurance providers via email/phone to resolve outstanding accounts
- Collaborate with billing teams, managers, and payers to resolve denials
- Meet and maintain cash collection metrics and department goals
- Work closely with payer provider representatives to resolve reimbursement issues
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Recent healthcare denials and appeals experience
- Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and payer medical policies
- Prior healthcare experience in billing, reimbursement, or A/R
