What You’ll Do
Accounts Payable
- Review, code, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage electronic payments, checks, and wire transfers.
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers.
- Monitor receivables aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Process payments (checks, credit cards, electronic transfers) and reconcile accounts.
Payroll & Cash Flow
- Support payroll processing and employee payments as needed.
- Monitor cash flow projections and identify optimization opportunities.
- Provide updates and reporting on receivables and cash flow.
Financial Reporting & Process Improvement
- Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting and financial analysis.
- Identify areas for automation and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to improve workflows.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in A/P, A/R, payroll, or related roles (25+ years of experience welcome).
- Proficiency with accounting software/ERP (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Consulting, client-facing, or public accounting experience is a plus.
