What You’ll Do
- Translate 2D reference images into accurate 3D models with proper proportions and topology
- Source and interpret supplementary references for unclear or incomplete designs
- Model across asset categories: vehicles, props, machinery, humans, animals, plants, environments, and architecture
- Iterate on assets based on feedback to meet project quality standards
- Document and clearly communicate modeling process and problem-solving steps
What You Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency with tools such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Houdini, or 3ds Max
- Familiarity with texturing/UV workflows (Substance Painter, Mari)
- Portfolio demonstrating hard surface, organic, and environmental work
- Strong grasp of anatomy, form, and material definition
- Ability to work collaboratively in iterative pipelines
