The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting a dynamic team of leaders on the Population Health & Value-Based Care team.
Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 08:00am 05:00pm.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Extensive time management, ensuring that key meetings are planned and scheduled with good notice and clear agenda set which at times may be highly confidential and sensitive nature, prioritize incoming communications
- Organize and gather information from various departments and meetings and reports that information to leadership team
- Actively seeks to improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency
- Manage deliverables of leadership team to ensure on-time completion
- Manages leaders’ calendars, travel, expenses, and key meetings
- Provide organized resources (itineraries, meeting materials, etc.) for upcoming leader travel
- Maintain and distribute lists as needed (e.g., organizational charts; email; distribution; vendor; contacts; phone)
- Greet and direct internal and/or external partners (e.g., contractors; auditors; vendors) to appropriate locations and/or staff
- Work effectively as an integral member of a team of administrative professionals, collaborating and providing coverage for other team members as necessary
- Serve as Business Segment Liaison (BSL) coordinating staff onboarding and offboarding including hardware and software requisitions, access requests and other office management responsibilities for fast-paced organization
- Attend required trainings, regularly review resources and network with other BSLs to stay up-to-date on role requirements and solutions

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience working in an environment where highly confidential information is handled, reviewed/processed
- 2+ years of experience supporting multiple business leaders within a fast pasted large virtual or hybrid matrix corporate environment
- Strong or working knowledge and advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Microsoft Outlook (ability to manage multiple accounts, strong email organization skills i.e., apply tasks functionality, utilization of flags and strong calendar organization skills)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to create executive level presentations that include animations, slide transitions, graphs, and charts, etc.)
- Microsoft Excel (ability to create pivot tables, formulas, and conditional formatting)
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing internal communications
- SharePoint, Visio, and Adobe experience
- Experience with project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
