Schedule
- Remote
- Estimated 5 hours/week (20 hours/month)
- $25/hour (1099 contractor)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
- Must be available for video meetings and tech-ready (Zoom, Asana, QuickBooks)
Responsibilities
- Accurately generate and send up to 50 monthly invoices via QuickBooks
- Ensure invoices align with contract terms and standardized schedules
- Monitor payments and document updates in Asana
- Follow defined escalation processes for past-due accounts
- Handle sensitive financial information per SOP and data security protocol
- Suggest and implement improvements for billing automation and tracking
- Maintain invoice templates, SOPs, and documentation for billing processes
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with accounts receivable
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Asana, and general invoicing workflow
- Familiarity with ACH forms, invoice reconciliation, and escalation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational systems
- Comfortable with remote collaboration and self-direction
- Ability to manage financial documentation with strict confidentiality
- Excellent communication and documentation habits

- Experience working in media, marketing, or consulting firms
- Prior experience supporting small businesses or startups
- Process improvement or automation skills (Zapier, dashboard tools, etc.)
