What You’ll Do
- Prepare and resubmit corrected claims to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with payer requirements
- Analyze and resolve first-pass rejections, re-bill clean claims, and follow up on outstanding billing issues
- Process claim appeals with accurate documentation to maximize reimbursement
- Evaluate accounts for adjustments or write-offs and report to management
- Generate monthly patient balance statements and maintain transparent communication
What You Need
- 1–3 years of experience in medical insurance billing and collections (preferred)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of physical therapy EMR systems (a plus)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Customer success-oriented mindset
