Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Monday–Friday with standard business hours
What You’ll Do
- Submit corrected claims and appeals to insurance companies
- Process 80–100 claims daily with accuracy
- Follow up on claims, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely payments
- Handle insurance calls and phone reprocessing when necessary
- Maintain refund logs for patients and insurers, and provide documentation upon request
- Complete assigned AR projects and service desk tickets in a timely manner
- Reconcile discrepancies in bank accounts and manage refunds
- Mail reconsiderations/appeals as required
- Work internal chat systems and collaborate with team members
- Demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and effective problem-solving in daily tasks
What You Need
- High school diploma and one year of billing/related experience required
- Billing certificate or associate degree preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with Imagine EMR system a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
