The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for addressing and resolving insurance claims that are unpaid. This is accomplished by contacting insurance companies, by phone or via the web, to get additional information on why medical claims were denied or remain unpaid and determine the best course of action to resolve the denied or unpaid claim. This position is responsible for the day-to-day processing of assigned unpaid insurance claims. This includes the timely review of insurance accounts receivable and recommendations for reprocessing or adjustment to the client. An Accounts Receivable Associate works with the Accounts Receivable Manger, Team Leader and Business Analyst to reduce or eliminate denials.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $15.00 to $25.19. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $15.77 to $27.79. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
