Schedule
- Full time, Remote (states eligible listed below)
- Pay range: $21.00–$23.00/hr
- Schedule includes two evening shifts per week (12pm–9pm CST and 10am–7pm CST)
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
- Remote employees must reside in: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to past due customers to resolve delinquencies
- Assess delinquent and potentially delinquent accounts and take ownership of resolution
- Research accounts to determine the best course of action and resolution path
- Take payments over the phone, including credit card transactions
- Provide hardship relief options in line with company policies and practices
- Use internal tools and resources to aim for one-call resolutions
- Answer questions about interest, statements, and other account details clearly and accurately
- Support overflow and specialty calls (disputes, recovery, first pay, bankruptcy)
- Assist with administrative and in-office tasks as needed
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in business, finance, communication, marketing, or related field, OR relevant applicable experience
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, internet)
- Professional phone presence with excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Availability for required evening shifts and occasional Saturday schedule
- Bilingual communication skills (role is listed as bilingual)
