Schedule

  • Full-time, non-exempt role
  • Remote position, reporting to the SNF Billing Supervisor
  • Flexible schedule with team meetings, committees, or calls as needed

What You’ll Do

  • Work with residents and families to establish viable payer sources from entry through stay
  • Process Medicaid applications and re-determinations
  • Enter and maintain data in Utrack system
  • Interact professionally with client and facility staff
  • Escalate growing balances and unresolved issues to leadership
  • Ensure facility operations follow procedure and compliance standards
  • Communicate regularly with directors, administrators, and staff on potential issues
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to training of new A/R specialists
  • Handle additional duties as assigned

What You Need

  • Experience working with nursing home facilities and Medicaid applications
  • Knowledge of NCS, MatrixCare, and/or PCC (preferred)
  • Prior experience as a SNF A/R Collections Specialist (a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze information and identify options for resolution
  • Collaborative mindset to engage with clients and team members
