What You’ll Do
- Answer high-volume inbound calls, transfer and direct calls, and deliver excellent phone-based customer service
- Coordinate front office patient needs including appointment scheduling and transport coordination
- Communicate clearly with patients, clients, team members, peers, and leadership
- Accurately enter data into Carenet systems and EMR databases
- Respond to inquiries from patients, customers, and third-party vendors including clinic directions and hours
- Contact health plans to verify patient insurance information
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Healthcare or medical front office experience with appointment scheduling
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems (medical assistant or medical front office background preferred)
- Strong computer skills (data entry, screen navigation, keyboarding)
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong demonstration of empathy, caring, and compassion
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to provide required home equipment (2 x 22-inch monitors with HDMI and Display ports)
