Schedule
- Remote (must live in one of these states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI)
- Two evening shifts per week: 12pm–9pm CST and 10am–7pm CST
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to past-due customers to resolve delinquencies
- Review and research accounts to determine the best resolution path
- Take payments over the phone (including credit card transactions)
- Offer hardship relief options aligned to company policy
- Aim for one-call resolutions using internal resources/tools
- Explain account details like interest, statements, and payment questions clearly
- Support overflow calls (disputes, recovery, first pay, bankruptcy)
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
What You Need
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, email, internet)
- Professional phone presence and clear written/verbal communication
- Persuasion and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong typing and attention to detail
