If you’re the person who can keep credentialing moving when portals, payers, and timelines try to stall it out, this is your lane. You’ll own health plan credentialing end to end and help Pomelo expand access by getting clinicians approved accurately and fast.

What You’ll Do
- Complete group and practitioner health plan credentialing for Pomelo’s telehealth clinic and care team
- Track applications from submission through approval and contracting, keeping milestones and timelines visible across teams
- Proactively prevent and resolve delays or denials through rigorous follow-up and escalation
- Partner with licensing, credentialing, and enrollment to ensure clinician licensure is current and CAQH profiles are up to date
- Communicate with clinicians (nurses, NPs, physicians, therapists, dietitians) to support navigation and answer credentialing questions
- Improve workflows as you identify bottlenecks and recurring issues
What You Need
- 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume credentialing specialist role
- Deep expertise with commercial health plan credentialing, including payer portals and CAQH
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and independently finding answers
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent prioritization and time management, with proactive updates on timelines and roadblocks
- Collaborative, accountable team mindset

Pay
$55,000 – $75,000 per year (most candidates expected to land mid-range)
