Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm ET
Weekly pay
Compensation: $19.00–$20.00/hour
What You’ll Do
- Obtain prior authorizations and upload documentation to the appropriate repository
- Identify authorization discrepancies and contact payer reps to resolve issues
- Use payer portals, MCO phone lines, and email to confirm and update authorization status
- Coordinate with Operations so caregiver schedules align with authorized units
- Monitor authorization changes, update master profiles, and correct errors as needed
- Track authorizations and expiration dates and secure renewals before they expire
- Flag late, missing, or incomplete documentation that could impact billing
- Generate reports requested by leadership
- Handle admin tasks like sorting, scanning, filing, and emailing records
- Complete other related duties as assigned
What You Need
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in revenue cycle management, billing, or healthcare administrative support
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company policies
- Strong communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a solution-focused approach
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office
