Holistic Services is a growing behavioral health practice. This role supports day-to-day operations and patient experience with a heavy focus on insurance workflows, scheduling, and HIPAA-safe communication.
Schedule
- Full-time, Remote (Philippines preferred)
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
- $5–$6/hour (depending on experience)
What You’ll Do
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits (copays, deductibles, coverage limits)
- Handle prior authorizations for behavioral/mental health services
- Collect copays and process payments via Square (email payment links)
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for multiple clinicians
- Prevent double-bookings and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Manage intake processing and maintain patient charts in Notenetic EHR
- Handle inbound/outbound calls via Google Voice (with call forwarding)
- Manage email follow-ups, reminders, and documentation
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance across tools and communications
What You Need
- Healthcare background required (preference for nurses/doctors/medical pros)
- Behavioral health or mental health experience strongly preferred
- Must-have: insurance verification + prior authorization experience
- Comfortable scheduling for multiple clinicians
- EHR experience (Notenetic preferred, or quick to learn similar systems)
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Salesforce, WhatsApp, Skype, Google Meet
- Bonus: Square payments experience
- Bonus: Louisiana Medicaid or state-specific plans familiarity
