Schedule
- Remote: Work from home (US)
- Shift: 8-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time
- Hiring restrictions (not hiring in, including but not limited to):
- States: AK, CA, HI, MA, IL, MT, NY
- Metro areas: Minneapolis (MN), Chicago (IL), New York City (NY), Portland (OR), Montgomery County (MD), Seattle (WA), Washington, DC
- Note: Some locations may not qualify due to minimum wage rules
What You’ll Do
- Triage, research, and respond to participant issues (eligibility, calculations, plan provisions, tax, EFT inquiries)
- Review benefit reports (including BRDs) and take action as needed
- Set up payments for pension annuities and lump sums under senior team guidance
- Conduct complex and non-complex research and data analysis, providing clear supporting details
- Gather and relay relevant documentation for plan participants and beneficiaries
- Stay current on legal and regulatory updates impacting retirement benefits and plan requirements (SPDs)
- Collaborate with leadership and teammates to resolve uncommon or escalated issues
- Respond to pension verifications and form reprint requests
- Work records with missing data and coordinate with banking vendors for participant questions
What You Need
- Must be 18+ years old
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and screens
- Excel experience (detail and organization matter here)
- Internet requirements:
- Speed test: download ≥ 25 Mbps, upload ≥ 5 Mbps, ping ≤ 175 ms
- Must be able to connect via ethernet cable to modem/router
