- Full-time, Remote
- Monday–Friday (8-hour shift within operating hours)
- Department hours: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM Mon–Thu, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Fri
- Pay range: $18.67–$21.96/hour
- Remote not available in: AK, CT, DE, HI, KS, KY, ME, MA, MS, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WY
- Bonus: Not eligible
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
- Contact doctors’ offices to obtain required prior authorization information
- Manage assigned workflow queues and keep work moving efficiently
- Document information accurately and thoroughly, including prescription order setup
- Help ensure patient records include key details (demographics, allergies, med history, comorbidities, payer info)
- Follow all legal and ethical requirements in handling patient information
- Support other areas as needed with prior authorization-related tasks
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Some college (preferred)
- CPhT certification (preferred)
- Pharmacy technician license or trainee license (strongly preferred in states requiring licensure)
- 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience (preferred)
- Strong phone communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort documenting in systems
- Ability to work scheduled shifts within the department’s hours of operation
- Commitment to compliance and respectful collaboration
