  • Cross-functional work with clinical, engineering, member support, and customer success teams

What You’ll Do

  • Gather client benefit plan requirements and build/maintain pharmacy benefit plans across multiple platforms
  • Own benefit configuration structure and data integrity for assigned accounts
  • Lead process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and quality
  • Support escalations and complex configuration requests across the team
  • Create and maintain prior authorization and step therapy rules
  • Transition (grandfather) new clients and update formularies based on clinical team direction
  • Communicate project status, escalate issues appropriately, and drive workflow improvements
  • Partner with member support and customer success to resolve benefit-related inquiries quickly
  • Troubleshoot claims adjudication issues and support accurate processing
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve system automation and enhancements
  • Coordinate with external vendors to surface issues and track work requests
  • Support implementations: go-live testing, post-launch audits, and ongoing configuration accuracy checks

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare and/or PBM
  • 6+ years of benefits configuration experience in healthcare or health insurance
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
  • Strong communication skills (written, calls, and stakeholder-facing conversations)
  • Self-starter who makes good decisions, solves problems creatively, and delivers consistently
  • Execution-focused, solutions-oriented, efficiency-driven mindset
  • Adaptable and steady under pressure in a fast-moving tech environment
