What You’ll Do
- Manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized business accounts in a phone-based collections role
- Negotiate repayment plans with customers in default to bring accounts back into good standing
- Lead challenging conversations with professionalism, empathy, and good judgment
- Understand the customer’s business situation and revenue fluctuations to recommend payment relief options
- Maintain persistent outbound follow-up using calls, texts, and email to reach unresponsive customers
- Document account status, interactions, and next steps in Salesforce CRM
- Hit monthly recovery goals and meet or exceed incentive targets
- Deliver timely, accurate, relationship-driven customer service aligned to Forward’s core values
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of professional customer service experience
- 1+ year of collections experience
- Strong listening skills and the ability to communicate with empathy while still driving outcomes
- Negotiation skills and comfort handling difficult conversations
- Self-starter mindset: asks questions, takes initiative, and suggests process improvements
- Bilingual Spanish (spoken and written) preferred

Compensation
- $28.84 – $31.25 per hour
- $1,750 monthly variable (based on performance metrics)
